construction sucks
The first person to climb mount everest died yesterday he was 88. random fact. One more thing to bitch about. My living room is still effed up. I came home and the foreman was putting a note on my door, i just flat out said So what did you just put up there on MY door. He asked if i was Rhonda and i said yup. So we had a nice long talk about how i dont think its cool that he can come in my house whenever and i want it done and i dont care if it looks good cause im moving! so anyway supposedly it will be done on monday but then they are coming in to fix all the rest of the crap they did when they did the siding. i told him again its not cool. BUT we both thought it was nice not to have to go across the beam in the living room. so anyway i will give it another week....bastards...i try to put my foot down...but im too reasonable...

Money grubbing Chiropractors
mood: angry
ok so yesterday i went into the chiro and went thru the spiel about how its more benifical than medicine and how this can help you heal yourself form all kinds of things. blah blah blah. then my Xrays ...things i already new. My neck bends the wrong direction. this i knew and it is unsettling but i dont know what i can do about. i DONT want a surgery to fix that. your neck is supposed to bend 45degrees back...normal curve thing...mine bends 10degrees past straight to the other direction. that makes two sets of X rays that i have seen this and well ok whatever...i know im messed up. So now the nitty gritty....in the off handed manner during the discussion of charges they told me my insurance doesnt cover what they do, but they are gonna remove this charge and this charge and various x rays to see how progress is. 84 adjustments is the total plan. at a total of aoruns 5000. But they will remove this and this and this and the total is 1600. with monthly payments of 136. i told her i needed to take it home a crunch the numbers and oh sure that was fine. But i had to pay full price for the adjustment today since my insurance doesnt cover it and i had not signed a contract yet. 46$ for the adjustment. I asked...did i have to pay for the X rays and exam, she said no that was what the 30dollars were for (which they took as a co payment on the hope that my insurance covered it) No No she wasnt gonna charge me anymore for the exam. So in general ...nay...in summary...it cost me 46+30+two appoinments+time off work, to find out that they dont take my insurance. I feel stupid and used. Would have cost me less to just go to the Chiro i had.
